Météo-France has a marine center based in Brest Quipavas (France).
This centre is dedicated to the proactive monitoring of marine and offshore customers. It is composed of experts specializing in tropical meteorology, marine activities on seas and oceans all over the world.

Météo-France a été sélectionné par Eiffage Génie Civil Marine (EGCM) pour assurer les prévisions météorologiques permettant le routage lors d'opérations de remorquage de grande envergure (remorquage de 18 caissons en béton armé de 10,000 T) ainsi que les prévisions quotidiennes en support des travaux maritimes sur le site de Monaco pendant 2 ans. La qualité des prévisions ainsi que la lisibilité des modèles via le site extranet ont participé au succès de ces opérations marines. La prestation de Météo-France a ainsi permis aux équipes opérationnelles EGCM d'organiser la logistique et les mouvements des unités flottantes de manière optimale et de mener à bien un projet hors-norme.
